Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation
On January 4, 2010, the Divisions of Hematology-Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation were combined to create the new Division of Hematology, Oncology and Stem Cell Transplantation.
While the search for a permanent division chief is ongoing, Dr. David Stevenson has agreed to serve as Interim Division Chief and Interim Director of the Bass Center for Excellence in Pediatric Cancer and Blood Diseases. Newly appointed Associate Division Chiefs/Medical Directors Dr. Rajni Agarwal-Hashmi (Stem Cell Transplantation), Dr. Gary Dahl (Oncology) and Dr. Michael Jeng (Hematology) will provide administrative leadership to the new division and the Bass Center of Excellence in Pediatric Cancer and Blood Diseases until a new chief is appointed.
